Household Related Items and Services

  • Prior approval is required.

  • The amount requested for reimbursement for the cost of the service/item cannot exceed the amount listed on the FI prior approval email, but certain additional costs such as taxes, shipping, and handling can be added on.

    • The reimbursement cannot exceed the amount that was paid for the item.

    • Discounted prices do not need an updated Approval.

    • Repurchases of the same item will still require a new prior approval.

  • Items purchased must be submitted for reimbursement within 6 months of receiving the prior approval. Otherwise, a new prior approval may be required.

  • ‘One-time-services’ purchased should be submitted for reimbursements as soon as possible and within 6 months of receiving the prior approval.
