How to clock in

Guidelines


The following is a guide with instructions for Self-Hired Staff on how to navigate the eVero mobile app. All OPWDD and FI policy and regulations must be adhered to at all times. The presumption is that the correct eVero app (eVeroMobile) is already installed on an allowed device and the account is already set up by Yedei Chesed's FI HR Department. If not, please reach out to FIHR@Yedei.org.


Staff must use their username and password to log in. Please refer to the instructions included in the onboarding email received from FI HR. Otherwise, please reach out to FIHR@yedei.org.


As a reminder, location services must be turned on when clocking in and out to be EVV compliant (click the link for more details: https://www.health.ny.gov/health_care/medicaid/redesign/evv/index.htm).



Instructions

  1. Once logged in to the app, select the “Service Delivery” app.

  1. Select "New Session” on the bottom right side of the page OR the "+" on the upper right-hand side of the page.

  1. SelectSDS-Self-Hired Community Habilitation”.

    1. If this is not available, please reach out to FIHR@Yedei.org.

  1. Select “Mode of Support” and then select "Face-to-Face".

a. Note: Telehealth services can only be selected if prior approval was received from the FI.

  1. Select the "Individual" that will be receiving services.

    1. If the individual you are working with is not available, please reach out to FIHR@Yedei.org.

  1. Select "Done" in the upper right-hand corner.

  1. A pop-up window will appear with the message "Pending Monthly Summary" - Click "Yes" to proceed.

  1. A pop-up will appear to select the "Department" & "Reason".

    1. Select "Self-Hired Comm Hab".

    2. Select “Direct Service”.

      1. Note: the “Overnight” option requires prior approval from the FI.

    3. Select “Done” on the top right-hand side.

  1. Select the “Start” button to start the clock


Staff are only clocked in once steps 1 - 8 are completed.
